1. Shipping Policy

We ship in 24 hours or less of receipt of your payment. We ship via USPS on weekdays with the exception of holidays.

If your payment is received on a weekend, shipment will be on the first business day of the week, usually Monday.

Shipping charges are based on the actual cost of shipping from our ZIP code to your ZIP code.

Buyers outside the U.S. are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, and other duties.

• How can I reschedule delivery? For packages requiring a signature:
If no one is available to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt, the mail carrier will leave a notice (generally peach or yellow colored). This notice will provide the address of the Post Office where the package will be held, as well as the date of the next delivery attempt (typically within 5 days).

Packages are returned to the sender after 15 days from the first delivery attempt.

To receive your package, you have two options:

1) Pick up the package at the local Post Office (Note: I.D. may be required)

2) Schedule redelivery of the package at your convenience (Mon-Sat)

• What is the USPS Online Redelivery Service?

Online Redelivery Service allows customers to use the convenience of the internet to schedule delivery of parcels or extra service mail that could not be delivered on the initial attempt. This service will electronically notify your Post Office to redeliver your mail on a day that you or your agent can be home to receive it.

• Do you ship outside the U.S.?

2. Return Policy

Our return policy is simple. Within 15 days of purchase (30 days for Custom Made Trays, Night Guards, and/or Athletic Mouth Guards), you may return any item in its original package for an exchange or refund.

Please note that the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges incurred for returning any products.

You must include a printed copy of the order information page (from the website) with the items you are returning. Make sure to specify on this page the reason for the return and if you want an exchange or refund.

If you choose to have your items exchanged:
Please tell us the exact item you want in exchange for the original item. Please note that after you have received an item in exchange, you can no longer return it.

Our Return Center will process your refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. You can expect a replacement or refund within 7 to 10 business days of our receiving your return.

Restocking/Discarding Fees:
All items are inspected for quality assurance before packaging and rechecked prior to shipping at our facility. This procedure generates a 99% faultless product. Therefore, any item that is returned for a refund or replacement, which is unpacked, used, or damaged in any fashion, will be charged a 20% restocking/housing discard fee. We understand the packaging may be damaged in shipping, but will apply the charge to damaged product.

Aplus Smile reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason.

Aplus Smile offers many payment options.

The above methods of payment are accepted with no additional surcharges. For you protection, we check all credit cards for potential fraud. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number, as it is on file with your financial institution. Incorrect information may cause delay in processing your order.

5. Privacy policy

At www.aplussmile.com, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you only to process orders and provide a more personalized shopping experience.

• What information do we collect? How do we use it?

- When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to process your order and to notify you of your order status.

- We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to our website, new services, and special offers we think you will find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, just e-mail us at admin@aplussmile.com. Make sure to notify us for each account or e-mail address you have provided us.

- In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

• What are Cookies?

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies do not contain any identifying information, but they do enable us to store items in your shopping cart between visits. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser preferences to prevent this. Even without a cookie, you can use all of the features in our store, including placing items in your shopping cart and purchasing them.

• Will http://www.aplussmile.com/ disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

6. Whitening Product FAQ

• Why does whitening gel, for instance Day White ACP, become a dark purple/black color when in contact with amalgam fillings?

This is normal. Based on years of clinical use, it has been proven that the dark purple/black coloration in the whitening tray after bleaching older amalgam fillings is inconsequential. No damaging effects on the amalgam restorations have been experienced. It is thought that the cause of discoloration is the zinc used in old amalgam fillings.

• Has the whitening gel, for instance Day White ACP, been activated before its application if the syringe contains more, small bubbles than usual?

Depending on the flavor and filling process, whitening gel syringes, such as the Day White ACP, can be found with varying amounts of bubbles. These bubbles do not result from peroxide decomposition in the syringe. They are simply a natural part of a thick formulation such as this.

• How long do the effects of teeth whitening products, for instance Day White ACP, last?

Every person is different. Whitening effects will last anywhere from a few weeks to as long as three years, or possibly longer. Some people prefer to touch up yearly, but longevity depends on a person’s habits, such as use of tobacco, wine, cola, ect.

• Do whitening gel products, for instance Day White ACP, require refrigeration, and how long do they keep?

We strongly recommend refrigeration for whitening gels, such as Day White ACP. The gel’s shelf life, when refrigerated, is 12 months. For short periods of time, such as during shipment, the material can be at room temperature; however, if it is not refrigerated, the shelf life is reduced to less than one year.
