Making Moldable Trays
Nite White ACP

Let’s say you order moldable trays in combination with Nite White ACP gel. The trays and Nite White ACP gel will be mailed out within one business day after payment is cleared or completed. Detailed instructions for molding the trays are included. The process is described below.

Step 1 – Pre-fitting the trays:
Place one tray in your mouth over your upper teeth. Practice sucking the air from the tray. This is the same procedure you will use after putting the trays in boiling water. This procedure causes the softened tray to mold to the contours of the inside surfaces of your teeth. Repeat with a tray over your lower teeth.

Step 2 – Prepare boiling water.
Bring water to a boil in a pan large enough to hold a tray.

After the water is boiling remove it from the heat. Place the tray into the hot water holding it by the tab. Leave in the water for 3-4 seconds.

Step 3 – Fitting the tray:
Pull the tray from the water. Quickly place it on the teeth and perform the same sucking procedure as you practiced in Step 1.

Step 4 – Trimming the tray:
The Nite White ACP or other teeth whitening gel should not touch the soft tissue or gums. Use small scissors or nail clippers to trim your trays on the gingival line – the teeth/gum line.

To whiten your teeth, place a small amount of the Nite White ACP gel in your tray. Place the tray and Nite White ACP gel in your mouth being careful not to push the gel out of the tray. Follow the instructions included with the Nite White ACP gel for the recommended treatment time. These are also listed on our Treatment Time page. After whitening, rinse the trays with water. Brush your teeth and rinse well to remove any excess Nite White ACP gel.
